About the Italy Volunteering Opportunity


Italy has officially launched a fully funded volunteering program for 2026–2027, coordinated by Associazione InCo, a well-established volunteer organization.


This program is ideal for motivated candidates who want to:

  • Live in Italy legally for up to one year
  • Contribute to social, cultural, environmental, or educational projects
  • Gain hands-on international experience without paying any fees

InCo is preparing its 4th volunteering project and is currently searching for international volunteers to work with new hosting organizations across the Puglia region.

There is no application fee

No strict application deadline (until final date)


Program Description (ESC Volunteering)


The volunteering projects focus on:

  • Community development
  • Education and school support
  • Cultural and social initiatives
  • Environmental and sustainable projects

Volunteers will work with local organizations and actively participate in daily activities that support local communities.


Project Duration & Start Dates


The program offers multiple volunteering timelines, depending on the hosting organization:

Osser Project:

  • Start: September
  • End: 23 May 2027


InCo – Molfetta:

  • Start: June
  • Duration: 12 months


X-Farm:

  • Start: January 2026
  • Duration: 6 months


Trullo Beach Project:

  • Start: June 2026
  • Duration: 3 months


Associazione “Appoggiati a me”:

  • Start: January 2026
  • Duration: 12 months


Parco Culturale Ecclesiale De Finibus Terrae:

  • Start: As soon as possible
  • Duration: 5 months


School Projects:

  • Start: September 2026
  • Duration: 9–10 months


Funding & Benefits (Fully Covered)


Volunteers selected for the Italy ESC program receive complete financial support, including:

  • Free accommodation throughout the project
  • Fully furnished shared apartment with internet access
  • Pocket money: €10 per day
  • Food allowance: €6 per day
  • Travel cost reimbursement according to ESC rules
  • Visa support and official invitation documents
  • Insurance & travel coverage provided by the program

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

  • Strong motivation and real interest in volunteering
  • Commitment to the project theme
  • English language level B1 or higher (Italian is an advantage)
  • Clear personal goals beyond tourism or visiting friends


Applications will be rejected if:

  • Generated entirely using AI tools
  • Generic or copied motivation letters are submitted
  • The main motivation is only travel or meeting acquaintances


Important notes:

  • No other job or paid activity is allowed during the project
  • You cannot receive another European grant at the same time
