Overview of the Volunteer Opportunity :
This volunteer opportunity is offered at the Rūjiena Youth Centre, where volunteers will engage with local youth. The center serves as a hub for around 15 to 20 young people daily, offering them a space for productive leisure activities after school or during free time. The center also supports young people facing social challenges, providing them with the chance to become involved as volunteers or activity organizers.
Volunteer Role & Responsibilities :
- Working Hours: 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM daily.
- Team Composition: Volunteers will work in pairs alongside a youth center leader.
- Summer Activities: The center will organize youth camps during the summer months.
Core Responsibilities:
- Leading informal educational activities for young people.
- Organizing and supporting social and recreational activities for youth.
- Engaging youth with various challenges through activities to promote integration and development.
Who We Are Looking For :
We are searching for motivated volunteers who can:
