Scholarship Benefits:


Master’s Students:


850 € per month for up to 2 years.


Doctoral Students:


1,200 € per month for up to 3 years.


Health Insurance: Up to 120 € per month subsidy.


Family Allowance: 276 € per month for a spouse, and 194 € per month for each child living with the student in Germany.

Eligibility Criteria:


  • Age: Must be under 30 years old at the time of application.
  • Academic Qualifications: Must have a strong academic record.
  • Language Proficiency: Minimum B2 level in German.
  • Social Engagement: Must have volunteer or social engagement experience.
  • Interests: Must demonstrate an interest in political issues, human rights, and democratic values.
  • No Previous PhD: Applicants who already hold a PhD are not eligible.

For Doctoral Students:


Application form, detailed thesis description, recommendation letter from the thesis supervisor, confirmation of supervision.


Eligible Countries:


Primarily targets students from countries in political transition or developing economies.


International students from other countries can also apply.


Application Process:


International Selection: Open to applicants from specific regions (e.g., Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Latin America) based on the year’s focus.

National Selection: For students living or studying in Germany through the KAS Campus portal.
